过海关英语：

很多人在过美国海关时都很紧张，不太会用英文与海关官员沟通。其实美国海关每天会见到成千上万的游客，他们早就已经习惯于各种不太流利的英文了。掌握几句过海关时常用到的英文就会有很大帮助。
Step 1准备好证件

海关通常第一句话会问Can I have your documents, please?我可以看一下你的证件吗？回答Yes，here you are.好，给你。

Where is your destination?你的目的地是哪里？直接回答Los angeles 洛杉矶或New York 纽约。

如果只是转机就说I’m here to transfer to…我在这里转机去…
I’m here to transfer to New York. 我在这里转机去纽约。
Step 3停留时间

海关会问How long will you be staying here? 你准备在这里停留多久？
回答I’m here for …(days/weeks/months).我在这里停留…(天/周/月)
I’m here for two days.我在这里停留两天。
I’m here for two weeks.我在这里停留两周。
I’m here for two months.我在这里停留两月。
Step 4来美国目的

What is your purpose of your visit?你来这里的目的是什么？
可以回答I’m here on vacation.我来这里度假。
I’m here for work.我来这里工作。
I’m here for school.我来这里上学。
I’m here to visit my family.我来拜访我的家人。

海关会问Where will you be staying?你住在哪里呢？
可以回答I will stay ….我将会住在...
I will stay in Los Angeles hotel.我将会住在洛杉矶宾馆。
I will stay in my parents place.我将会住在我父母家。

Can you confirm your return ticket?可以查看你的回程机票吗？
回答Yes, I will return on July 15th.我将会在七月十五号离开，并将回程机票给海关看。
